In my work in Silver Spring and Montgomery County, I use 21st century social networking technologies—Facebook, Flickr, Google’s Blogger, and YouTube--to build community, educate and entertain. I’ve included here some links to several good examples of using these technologies to educate about storm water and the protection of the local environment.

On the Alan Bowser for Montgomery County Planning Board, you can see my study of the Grand Canyon of Paint Branch. It’s a study of erosion, storm water damage, and the need for greater attention to handling storm water in Montgomery County.
